At Conscious Beauty Union we’re committed to accessibility. Although the majority of content on this membership website serves a niche audience (professional hair and makeup artists and skincare specialists), it is our policy to ensure that every one of our members, including persons with disabilities, has full and equal access to our digital offerings.
Actions We Have Taken
To ensure accessibility, we have taken the following actions:
- We have adopted a web accessibility policy.
- We have installed an accessibility plugin, which can be accessed on each page and post of our website and can be accessed by the navy and white tab on the top right-hand page of the screen.
- For our live Webinars and Masterclasses, we use auto-generated caption technology. (Please note, these are presented in English).
- We have included Accessibility as a checklist item for our social media posts, to ensure our broader material is also serving our community members with disabilities.
As part of our policy, ConsciousBeautyUnion.com is committed to maintaining accessibility. We conduct annual web accessibility audits to ensure our digital offerings stay up to date with the latest standards and best practices in accessibility.
Beyond our existing remediation measures, we continually review our website to ensure we adhere to best practices in web accessibility.
Applicable Laws & Regulations
Through our genuine and good faith commitment and devotion to accessibility, we believe that we meet the United Kingdom’s Equality Act 2010.
ConsciousBeautyUnion.com is committed to accessibility and we are always seeking to improve. If you know of a way we can improve, we’d love to hear more. You can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
